Meraki (may-rah-kee) means doing with soul, love, and creativity.
Can I just come for a week?

Our program is intended to build meaningful connections with our families. Except for special offerings, we require a semester commitment of 4 months.

Can I choose my days?

2- or 3-day program options allow you to choose your days, but they must be consistent from week to week.

Do I have to follow a specific curriculum?

When your child is not in our program, you can homeschool the way you see fit.

How does a personalized learning plan work?

All of our full-time students get a personalized learning plan. If you are a parent in the hybrid program, we'd be happy to help you build one, but it is not required.

Is your learning structured around common core or state standards?

We don't emphasize standards, but we do use them as benchmarks for setting learning goals.

Is state testing required?

Meraki doesn't require state testing, but if you are enrolled under another umbrella program they might.

How large are your classes?

Our school is intentionally small. We have no more than 10 students to 1 teacher at a time.

Do you work around special needs?

We recognize that all learners are unique. Each learner will be considered on an individual basis.

What does my child need to bring?

We supply standard supplies for lessons. Your learner will need to bring water, snacks, lunch (if PM) a change of clothes, and sunscreen.

Do you provide tablets?

We may offer you some digital learning resources, but you will have to provide a tablet.

Are you a learning fund vendor?

We are working on becoming a vendor with Epic and BrainTree Academy.

Is there a deposit required?

We require your first week payment up front. This is non-refundable.

Are your teachers certified?

Our lead teacher is a certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

Are your teachers background checked?

Yes, the safety of our children is of utmost importance.
